Wooden and acrylic awards for Counter Strike Technology Tournament CS2 2025

Gaming tournaments are built around precision, intensity, and identity. The awards that close them out should carry the same energy. For the Counter Strike Technology Tournament 2025, we designed a set of custom trophies that felt like they belonged in the same universe as the game itself.

Natural oak meets gloss black acrylic. Laser-cut CS2 branding meets UV-printed tournament graphics. The result is an award that's immediately recognizable to anyone who's ever played — and genuinely impressive to anyone who hasn't.

01 — The Brief

Awards Built for a Competitive Gaming Event

The client needed a full set of custom esports trophies for a technology-sponsored Counter Strike 2 tournament — covering 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place across multiple brackets. The requirements were clear from the start:

  • Strong visual connection to the CS2 brand and aesthetic
  • Premium materials that feel substantial in hand
  • A design that reads as high-end gaming, not generic corporate
  • Consistent production quality across the full batch

Esports awards occupy an interesting space — they need to feel technical and sharp, but also physically impressive. A screen-printed certificate doesn't cut it. A well-crafted object does.

02 — Design Concept

Oak + Black Acrylic: Raw Material, Sharp Identity

The design is built on contrast. A solid natural oak base — angular, geometric, with visible grain — anchors the award and gives it physical weight. Against it, a gloss black acrylic face plate with laser-cut CS2 logo lettering creates the hard edge the tournament aesthetic demands.

The red and white typography — Counter Strike Technology Tournament / 1st Place / 2025 — is UV-printed directly onto the acrylic, sharp and permanent. The radar graphic in the background adds depth without overloading the surface.

From the front, it reads as a gaming award. From the side, you see the wood grain and the dimensional layering. From any angle, it looks like something worth winning.

03 — Materials & Craft

Where Natural Wood Meets Precision Manufacturing

The oak base is not decorative — it's structural. The angular wedge form gives the award a forward-leaning stance, like it's mid-action. Each base is cut and finished individually, so the natural grain pattern varies slightly from piece to piece. No two are exactly the same.

The acrylic face plate slots into the wood with a clean fit — no visible hardware, no adhesive edges. The laser-cut CS2 lettering goes through the full thickness of the acrylic, creating a three-dimensional logo that catches light from behind. At certain angles, the backlit oak grain shows through the cut-outs.

That combination — warm organic material seen through a precision digital cut — is what makes these awards feel genuinely designed rather than just produced.

04 — Result

An Award the Winners Will Actually Keep

The full set was delivered ready for ceremony presentation — 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies across all brackets of the Counter Strike Technology Tournament 2025. Consistent in design, distinct in placement text, finished to the same standard across every single piece.
